For the New York premiere of “Sex and the City,” Sarah Jessica Parker wore a strapless Nina Ricci gown designed by Olivier Theyskens. She looked glamorous and happy. I think it was the kind of dress that Carrie Bradshaw would have worn.I also think that what happen next also could happen to Carrie. The same silver pleated Ricci dress had already been worn on a red-carpet—by Lauren (Davis) Santo Domingo at the Met ball, on May 5. Santo Domingo went to the Met with Theyskens. A crime in fashion world!

I have a beautiful black dress that I wore to every anniversary or fancy wedding, not a crime, no? I recycle I guess.
Have you ever been in a party where you want to shine and there is someone in the same outfit? I know it is hardly the end of the world, but I felt really embarrassed.
