It could happen to anyone!

For the New York premiere of “Sex and the City,” Sarah Jessica Parker wore a strapless Nina Ricci gown designed by Olivier Theyskens. She looked glamorous and happy. I think it was the kind of dress that Carrie Bradshaw would have worn.

I also think that what happen next also could happen to Carrie. The same silver pleated Ricci dress had already been worn on a red-carpet—by Lauren (Davis) Santo Domingo at the Met ball, on May 5. Santo Domingo went to the Met with Theyskens. A crime in fashion world!

I have a beautiful black dress that I wore to every anniversary or fancy wedding, not a crime, no? I recycle I guess.

Have you ever been in a party where you want to shine and there is someone in the same outfit? I know it is hardly the end of the world, but I felt really embarrassed.
