Texworld propose this colors for Autumn/ Winter 2008/2009.

This spectrum of warm brown and rich golden shades, colors that you will find in a cozy log cabin in winter.
Who can't resist to a sweet temptation?
I propose for this color range natural gemstone such as Agate, Picture Jasper, Citrine, Carnelian, Tiger Eye and Labradorite. Pieces made of gold and bronze will capture this cozy ambiance.

Reflect
This shade of silky pastels, colors that you will find in an Art Déco Buildings or in a cinema of the forties. A palette that exudes elegance and sophistication.

For this color range I propose natural gemstones such as Apapite, Olive Jade, Aquamarine, Amazonite, Rose Quartz , Moonstone and Pearls.

Preserve with this color range you will feel the desire to restore nature balance.

For this spectrum I'll suggest Jade, Malachite, Labradorite, Blue Chalcedony and Turquoise.
To capture the essence I will suggest textured metals and matte finish.

Cosntruct

Colours that you will find in an urban setting or in avant garde architecture.
Vivid colours like red, pink, violet or green recharge our life, like gardens in the city.

I'll suggest combine sterling silver with Sapphires, Lapis Lazuli, Onyx, Green Aventurine, Iolite,
Smokey Quartz and Red Coral.

Show and Share your jewelry pieces with me

For me, jewelry represents fun, memories and milestones; jewelry tells a story. This was the first piece I create in my silversmith class it took more than 3 weeks, I wear it everyday. I was very proud of myself. Now when people compliment my cuff I respond with a great smile "I made this".

I also treasured a necklace that my son made for me when he was 4. He put a lot of effort and he also felt very proud of himself.
Please share your story with me.

It could happen to anyone!

For the New York premiere of “Sex and the City,” Sarah Jessica Parker wore a strapless Nina Ricci gown designed by Olivier Theyskens. She looked glamorous and happy. I think it was the kind of dress that Carrie Bradshaw would have worn.

I also think that what happen next also could happen to Carrie. The same silver pleated Ricci dress had already been worn on a red-carpet—by Lauren (Davis) Santo Domingo at the Met ball, on May 5. Santo Domingo went to the Met with Theyskens. A crime in fashion world!

I have a beautiful black dress that I wore to every anniversary or fancy wedding, not a crime, no? I recycle I guess.

Have you ever been in a party where you want to shine and there is someone in the same outfit? I know it is hardly the end of the world, but I felt really embarrassed.
Hi there! You've landed yourself at the blog of jewerly designer Maria Burgos. I'm so glad you are here!
